Well, isn't this just great...

It has come to my attention that a review that I wrote for Bookmarking Demon has yet again been stolen.

This guy, Satdin, on DP forum AND on WickedFire forum asked a bunch of writers for samples in order to choose a writer for a rather large project.

He then took those samples and used them to promote Bookmarking Demon.

Now, I'm usually really easy to get along with but stealing something that I wrote, without paying for it, is just NOT gonna happen.

First, I had to have his page removed from Hubpages and NOW, I find out that he put the exact same content up on Blogger!!!!!

I have filed a complaint with Google for copyright infringement and have sent him several messages telling him to take down MY content. I also contacted the people at Bookmarking Demon to inform them what kind of affiliates they have promoting their products.

If you feel that someone has stolen your content, DO NOT sit idly by and let them get away with it!!

Contact whoever you need to in order to rectify the situation. There simply is no excuse for someone stealing content -- EVER!!

OK, rant over :) Carry on writers and have an excellent day!

Another Great Site - Constant Content

Ok, so I've given you lots of places where you can get your start in the freelance writing area.
This is just another great site where you can submit articles and earn money.

The difference in Constant Content and Associated Content is that at Constant Content, you write the articles and submit them, setting your own price. Buyers will browse through and if they like your articles, they pay what you are asking. You can set a general price and a price for Exclusive rights if you want.

There are alot of authors making recurring income from Constant Content. Their articles sell over and over again. This is a great resource if you want to keep making money a few months or even years down the line with articles that you have already written!

Try it out! It's free to join, as if I would actually post something that isn't free :) . Just get in there are start submitting those articles. There is also a forum if you want to interact with other authors and you can opt in to receive emails about specific articles that buyers want written.

Enjoy! And, as always, Get Writing!

If Ever There Was a Writer's Inspiration........

I wanted to introduce you all to a friend of mine. Lisa Curcio is an amazing mother, business owner and writer. We met through my favorite hang out WPLH and I just really wanted to share her story with you all.
Lisa’s youngest son Owain was born on May 3rd 2008. The morning after Owain was born it was discovered that he has a very rare and complicated Congenital Heart Defect. To quote Lisa from her journal: “His heart is very strong! It is just not wired correctly so that the blood goes into the heart & sent out to the lungs to get reoxygenated.”
So, I’m sure that running her jewelry business and her writing are keeping her busy enough, but with 3 boys running around the house and little Owain having surgeries to treat his condition, she must be really worn out!
The purpose of this blog was to help all you freelance writers by giving you resources and stories that will show you how possible it is to make a substantial income by writing from home. Lisa’s is a story that I think will touch your hearts and show you that even through adversity it is possible to fulfill your dreams of being writers.
Now, be sure to check out Lisa’s websites:

This is the link to her jewelry site, which has some really beautiful pieces. http://gaiasjewelry.com/
This is the link to her journal so that you can read up and keep up with Owain’s condition and how he is doing.http://hsilversprite.livejournal.com/

And, last but certainly not least, this is the link to her published articles on Associated Content.
http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/96202/lisa_curcio.html

Be sure to head over there and give her articles a look. She’s a very talented writer and an inspiration to us all.

Some Work From Home Resources

Just a little reminder for all you work from home moms about the best places online to find those work from home jobs.
First, the WPLH forum is absolutely and without a doubt the best place to find information about Customer Service, Transcription and other work from home jobs. The girls (and a few guys) on this forum are the most helpful and supportive people that you will ever meet. Just head over to the WPLH forum (click on WPLH for the link), register for free and you can check out all the companies that hire at-home workers.
Another great place to find jobs is GetaFreelancer.com. If you are looking for work that involves writing, data entry, transcription, web design and other things like this, then GetaFreelancer is a great place to look. Hit the link and register. It’s free too. Once you have registered you will be allowed to look at all the great jobs and when you find one (or a lot) that interest you, just bid on them.
Digital Point Forum is a great place for web-related jobs too. Writing, designing and other web-type jobs can be found at the Digital Point Forum. Just register for free and then go to the “Buy, Sell, Trade” section. In the "Buy, Sell, Trade" section you will find a "Services" section. Inside this section are different areas for writers (the Content Creation section) and designers. There are also paid forum posting jobs, graphic design and other jobs listed.

I hope this helps some of you to find your dream work from home job. As I always say, if I can find a work from home position then anyone can. And as always, if I can help you at all, just use the comment box and leave me a message. I’ll reply ASAP.
So, get looking for that work from home job. You’ll be making money in your jammies before you know it. As for me, I’ve got a lot of work with my writing business AND I’ve started writing my very first novel.
See, it is possible to work from home. You just need a push in the right direction. So here’s your push :)

I'm Back!!

Wow, it's been a long time since I posted. In my defense though, I have been very, very busy.
I have been writing until my fingers hurt:) I have also set up my website which outlines my writing business. Now, if you have a serious desire to become a professional freelance writer, then by all means you really should set up a website.
I did set up a blog first that listed my rates and some samples, but setting up a real website is much better. I makes you appear much more professional and serious about your writing business. Make sure that you have a page with samples and, if possible, have a client page that lists all the clients that you have done previous work for. It helps to establish your credability.
Well, back to work.
Be sure to check out the new Write Next Door website:)

Happy Writing!!
